Although It is not well documented, because of non – coordination between the Government and the Diasporas, but the Diaspora of Tanzania abroad, account for significant share of the country GDP. Similarly, the contribution of the Diaspora in terms of skills, expertise and transfer of knowledge to Tanzania is invaluable though this potential is not yet fully developed or harnessed.
The Diaspora is currently estimated to number over two million and estimate remittances of over $1billion USD per annum supporting families, friends and investment to their motherland.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column offset=”vc_col-md-4″][porto_content_box align=”center”][vc_column_text]It is a Federation Council of all Tanzanian Communities represented based on their countries, continent of residence councils ‘in Northern America, South America, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Australia and Africa, Living in the Diaspora {Abroad} across all the continents of the World as above.[/vc_column_text][/porto_content_box][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=”custom” gap=”tall” gradient=”yes”][vc_custom_heading text=”About TDC ” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][porto_history title=”2012″ animation_type=”fadeInUp” history=”Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Similarly, the importance of Tanzanian and Persons of Tanzania Origin in the Diaspora should be fully recognised in the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania and Diaspora commission bill, should be proposed with the views of the Diasporas themselves via Tanzania Global Diaspora Council with its members as illustrated above, Parliament discussion and, the Government, thereafter, to be enacted into law.[/porto_history][/vc_column][/vc_row]
